Stay in Lennox Head

Lennox Head is a small seaside village located on Bundjalung land, between the Clarence and Logan Rivers, and is rich in Aboriginal culture and history. Once, a small holiday village sought out by fisherman and surfers for its abundance in oceanic life, Lennox has since flourished into a popular coastal town, whilst still managing to hold onto its village feel.

The village is located only a short drive South from Byron Bay, making it a desirable day trip for many Byron Bay visitors, and in recent years, has seen holiday makers seek out the quieter town of Lennox over its bigger sister for its less touristy vibe.

Lennox Head is a great place to holiday, with beautiful beaches, a freshwater lake and some simply stunning scenery. Each year, we have a birds eye view of the whales migrating North for the Winter, a real treat to see them come in so close to shore - being the most Easterly part of Australia means we have a fantastic vantage point. We are surrounded by so much nature, just getting out on one of the many hiking or bike trails is an absolute must. Then sit back and relax in one of the many great restaurants on offer.

Enjoy a live band at the pub or a relaxed beer at the Bowlo. With a range of boutique stores available, from fashion to homewares you are guaranteed to find that special something. If it’s action you crave, there is also golf close by or hang gliding off the point, windsurfing, canoeing, sailing on Lake Ainsworth and four wheel driving along Seven Mile Beach.
