COVID-19: Message to our valued guests
These are challenging times as our country and the broader international community comes to terms with the World Health Organisation (WHO) declaring COVID-19 as a pandemic on 14 March.
We understand the evolving situation may have caused you to rethink your travel plans and would like to take this opportunity to update you on the precautionary measures we are taking to ensure the safety of all guests and staff.
At Lennox Head Luxury Homes + Beach Shacks, the health and safety of our guests and workers is paramount and we remain vigilant in this challenging time. We are taking all reasonable steps to mitigate against the risk of transmission of infection within our holiday properties.
Given the extenuating circumstances and to help protect the community, we've implemented a flexible cancellation policy. If you have made a booking and are unable to travel due to government restrictions, we will offer you a full refund. For all other bookings, our cancellation policy will apply as usual.
Guests who have booked via travel agents or third-party websites (including but not limited to Stayz and AirBnB) will be subject to their terms and conditions and are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their COVID-19 policies.
While we have always maintained high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, we have introduced a number of additional precautionary measures to help slow the spread of COVID-19 and keep our communities safe. These include:
Increasing the depth of cleaning in our properties to maintain a high level of hygiene.
Minimising person to person contact within our office environment, for example, prioritising technology for communication.
Training our staff around good hygiene practices and COVID-19.
Instructing our contractors (including cleaners) to take personal action to reduce exposure, practice good personal hygiene measures and follow guidelines issued by the Australian Government.
Ensuring that any staff who show signs of illness or have travelled overseas recently stay at home.
If you, or any of your guests travelling with you, have in the 14 days before check-in been:
in close contact with a confirmed or suspected COVID-19 case; or
- to any of the hotspots within Australia
please advise us as soon as possible by calling 0423 274 059 so we can discuss this matter before you check-in to the holiday property.
